Do you have a good reason for ‘postponing’ your pleasure? for life? for flowers? for joy? Even though Summer is ending and we are turning towards the Autumn?

Beloved Flower Lover,

It’s a time, when we might be looking back over the summer as we approach autumn.  Some of might be counting every pleasure and desire fulfilled and noticing how satisfied we really are. Some of us  might  be scared about the aftermath of summer, not taking any time to count all the good things that we had desired, however small that came into fruition.

What are you doing?

“When we fall into the trap of postponing pleasure until we’ve produced what we believe we need to in order to be worthy and enough OR postponing pleasure until we’ve pushed, deprived or restricted ourselves (including our bodies) enough to feel that we deserve to relax and enjoy ourselves and our lives for a change, then it takes getting to the point of feeling totally run down, burnt out, depleted and drained to completely empty to remind us that we are meant for so much more than we are allowing ourselves to experience and to wake us up to why we are here in the first place and what our purpose truly is….which is to know joy, to feel good, and to experience the full range of pleasure on all levels.” Salona Carlise

Without the fuel or feeling of pleasure, you will not be able to fulfill your purpose.

The London Flower Lover

p.s. Perhaps do this exercise for the autumn equinox. Count all the desires you have had fulfilled and give thanks for them, however small. Notice how good it feels to be so full. Celebrate!
