Beloved Flower Lover,
We have come to make lots of real friends through blogging and introduced many to the practice of blogging. Marie Williams sadly passed away a few weeks ago, April 21st in the early hours of the morning at a lovely hospice and her funeral will be held in North London, May 30th.
We are humbled to know that we showed her how to blog and how she totally got into it and became this prolific writer thereafter. Her writings were all about reclaiming the her narrative.
Although she passed with cancer, we know that before she did that she was able to use her blog for personal healing and produced amazing poems that her daughter plans to collate into a booklet.
The Darkest Night
In the darkest night
Believe that the light within you
Can certainly never die
~ Marie Williams – June 2018
It’s weird to know that we won’t be seeing her comments on our posts. Gosh even thinking about that just makes you think. We really value you. Yes, you who have been on this journey with us. We think of you each time we look at your profile photos. So thank you Pat, Merryfairy, Celia and so many many others. You are in our hearts.
Please join us in spirit and send Marie and her family love, light, peace and joy at this time.
We love you all,
The London Flower Lover
p.s. In life and death you are loved!
P.S. please go and see her work.
If anyone wants to send flowers, they can send them to the Co-Op Funeral Care 113-119 Lancaster Road. Enfield. EN2 0JN.
