Choose Pantone Colour 2019 for your flowers and notice how you feel

Beloved Flower Lover,

Keep still and see yourself in the colour in the Pantone Colour of 2019.  We are all free to see how we might use the colour vibrations, so we would ask you today.

How we might use the vibration of the red and yellow that make up the coral/orange of

PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral?

Described by Pantone as an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.

peonies and bags

This colour is inviting us to play and we are reminded that this colour is linked to the sacral chakra, referred to as the second chakra or Svadhisthana in Sanskrit, which is located below the navel in the lower abdomen.  We know that it is the centre of reproduction and reativity as well as movement and emotion. We know that when we cook, bake, or garden, we are creating. We create when we find a new solution to an old problem. Any time we take raw materials, physical or mental, and transform them into something new, we are using our creative energy. mmmmmm

We think about creativity in education and think about once we pass through the phase where coloring, painting, or cutting paper is completely acceptable, it can seem for some that we must mold into less creative beings. In order to conform, follow the rules and fit in, we can sometimes lose our creative energy and thus, our unique ideas in the process. Sometime we become used to following what’s right, the latest trend, or what’s acceptable to others. Then, when asked to abstractly invent something new, we might have a difficult time doing it. So this colour tells us that its time to Play Like a Child to Awaken Your Creative Energy

Happy New Year,
