It’s Thursday, choose sunny yellow flowers and calm down

Beloved Flower Lover,

“Daylight is my friend…colour is my lover….aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and today yellow is my vision”.

We were struck by her poetry and smiled as we listened clearly as her words unfolded from her being. We felt that the relaxing time for absorbing soothing words was here. We were past superficiality.

“I want some yellow flowers.”

“I am going to find a river or lake today and want to offer some flowers. I have made a choice about my life. I am the change I want to see in the world”.

She continued and we already felt better in anticipation…open to her flowery words.

“God needs me to fulfil my  greatest talents in order to come into the world.  It’s reciprocity. The never ending circle of life. God comes through people and our deeds. If I do not live up to my best how can God’s best be exposed. Fulfilling God’s need is the highest act of love, and only through my love for God can I  fulfill my love for others.  We all grow from sharing and loving. I choose to express my talents as the mechanism to express the Love of God in the world for the protection of the world”

She continued and we remained open to her sunny words.

” we have access to a peace that cannot be disturbed by anything in the world — it’s our nature—since we are one with all, since we have access to spiritual power, why then can we not love those who commit transgressions on us — especially when the act of loving is the generation of the most powerful force in the universe?   If we are one, then the good I do to you, I have done to myself — is this not the key to wealth and health?”

She was sending a calming message to our amygdala. We felt safe. We felt our anxiety clear and calm.

” I know Truth. It is the reciprocal relationship of things. I live by it and am therefore in harmony with the whole. My being is in order and I am a source of harmony to all. I want the yellow flowers to express that vibration of optimism in my life to others.

She smiled and we wondered.

We took a moment to allow ourselves the chance to relax a little more and asked how could we apply this practise to a situation we had had a challenge with?

Let’s start with what we can do right now we felt.

Colour, colour colour.

We felt calmed down enough, open enough to explore the practise of using colour psychology.  Inspired, we decided to explore using yellow in our imaginations and designs to experience good feelings.

Yellow colour   Rumena barva

Yellow is the colour of sun, light and optimism, which stimulates, activates and frees the mind from fear.

It stimulates alertness and promotes concentration, whilst symbolizing creativity and wisdom. Yellow promotes motor skills, and communication.

On the walls of hallways and kitchens yellow has a positive warming effect. Yellow has the greatest impact on the respiratory organs,  and helps in treatment of anxiety, increases blood pressure, accelerates the pulse and breathing rate and has positive effect on nervous system.

The most common shades of yellow are: cloudy yellow (calming, thinking), live yellow (agility, boldness, relaxation), olive yellow (gloomy mood) and citron yellow (alertness, vivacity, liveliness, perfection).  So the yellow flowers we suggest you may like to choose today are: Daffodills, carnations, chrysanthemums, gerbers, tulips and orchids.

Be a  colour scientist and choose any yellow flower really. Choose and notice a shift in your feelings.
