Beloved Flower Lover,
Doing wonderful things and making no money!
Doing wonderful things and no resources!
Doing wonderful things and change….
just because you do something beautiful does it even mean if it will support you…..
why are we talking about this?…. well why not….our readers, our friends, our family are talking about this….so are we!
We find that lots of the people we talk to love our work and want to talk about the business side of things we do….so we are just going to share a poem which might open up a door of thought, plus the glamour photography work of Sue Bryce.
Before you look away-its safe….Sue describes something very important to women and those who know women are beautiful at what ever stage of life they are right now, today.
Sue reminded us of the great poet Derek Walcott:
Time will come when you will greet yourself. and treat yourself for a glass of wine. And you will love the stranger that once love you. And
you will bring back the memories, that you
once share. With the love letters, the photo’s
and it will be like a feast to your past. And the
one you ignored knew your heart better than
any one else
Sue really talks about a key issue for business.
We honor and value you, your time and appreciate you deeply, as we also love ourselves.
Feast on your own amazingness!
The London Flower Lover
p.s. Derek Walcott poem-
Love After Love
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other’s welcome, and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you
all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.
