Beloved Flower Lover,
Ok, As any reader of the London Flower Lover has come to know from reading our material, that we are about being committed and accountable to writing about flowers as a symbol of self empowerment. We love the idea of others taking advantage of our material so they too can enjoy the symbol of self empowerment. We had originally been waiting for someone else to write about flowers. Waiting for someone else to be writing about floristry from a completely different way.
We had been waiting for someone else who would play with the use of floristry in a successful way that moved us to experiencing more of the commitment and promise of flowers. Love, peace, joy, happiness, connection.
We were waiting to hear about new ways of how to think about using flowers from others. We could never find anything and so we let go to that idea and with the love of friends and clients have been writing about flowers and how they are reflection of the subtly creative power we all have.
We took this work in small stages and taking part in small self honouring conversations with self- as we prepare flowers for others.
No we are not freaky people just because we have found that things can change after all this time. This work reinforced a far deeper appreciation of the building blocks to the promise of flowers. The commitments to things that blocked love, peace, joy, beauty, happiness. Letting go of old underlying commitments has been the foundations of the meaning that we have given behind floral design, floristry and the giving and receiving of them. The willingness to stand in your own power. To show up for yourself. And that is the greatest gift you can give to yourself.
