Thank you Celia for reminding us that flowers still spark joy for us!

Beloved Flower Lover,

Celia, our internet friend asked about whether we actually read all the books we had recently shared in our ‘Staycation’, blog post. And the truth, most we scanned through but ‘Spark Joy’ was the most practical one that we applied. Why? Well we  found her method really resonated with us because it was all about representing how we felt about the wonderful things we have or had owned. Marie Kondo’s mentality related to our own, which is about filling the space with a sense of care.

It was wonderful staying in the Bed and Breakfast without any wifi. We used the time to listen to the silence in the countryside. And as we did that we noticed the ’empty space’.  Her mentality related to our own, which is about filling the space with a sense of care.

So, yes, we really smiled when Celia asked the question. We wanted to share the Marie Kondo’s audio which re activated our own feelings about why we use flowers personally and professionally.

Yes, when they are in our space, they still ‘spark joy’. Yes, we loved Marie Kondo’s book. We love filling space with flowers, especially as we declutter. Filling our space with love and care is our focus.

What is yours?
