Just a quick little post here: Doreen Virtue on Twitter has something to say about flowers!

Beloved Flower Lover,

We have been looking at Twitter recently and listening to others who are looking into self care, self compassion, and self love.

We know that people use lots of different methods to look after themselves and others. For us, self compassion, self care, and self love can be more important, especially for those who are big time givers.

Noticing that ‘givers’ need to ‘receive’ is an often needed realisation. Especially for those who forget it. So to help fill up those people in our lives who do a lot of giving with natural good energy is an on going task we have set for ourselves.

To ‘give’ or ‘receive’ a bouquet of flowers is about shifting and moving our energies.  That often means uplifting ourselves ‘first’ by remembering our connection to ‘natural’ beauty. That’s why for us, fresh flowers, as a gift for others or ourselves or  as part of decorating our homes and gardens is an essential part of self love, self care and self compassion.

What do you think? How do you use flowers in your life?

We found that Doreen Virtue had some key words to say about flowers too. What do you think?

Even if this short piece has made you think a little differently, the same or just improved what you already thought, let us know?

The team,

The London Flower Lover
