Include yourself in the processes of life. Receive flowers from others or from yourself

Beloved Flower,

We are really embracing this seasons subjects of sensuality and receptivity. A simple question to remain open to.

How do you receive complements? on a scale of 1-10. 10 being really comfortable and 1  not being comfy.

That might tell you where you stand with receiving the wonderful gifts of life…

Is  receptivity valuable enough to you to change the way you approach your life? Is it worth listening to? A taker has a receiver, what do you want to take?

About Thelondonflowerlover

Welcome to The London Flower Lover. We are florists who create floral collections to tell your real life story. With colour and texture, we take floristry into an entirely new direction based on the challenges and joys of your life. Offering what we call 'heart based floristry' we use style, fashion, and life situations and merge them with heart based lifestyle support. This inspiring blend creates so much more for those who love flowers. Using flowers in the traditional way of course, but always using flowers to open up a floralicious conversation about relationships of all kinds. We are a sort of work in progress of compassionately confirming how we are already on the inside, the love we want to see out in the world. That is mission of The London Flower Lover. So saying yes to recognising that is at the heart of this blog and using flowers to honour that inner world is how we use the beauty of giving and receiving flowers. This blog is your blog. It's as much about cultivating your heart, as it is about enjoying the physical beauty of flowers. It offers story, poems and video to reflect the life you actually live whilst showing beautifully inspiring collections of flower designs. Hand-tied bouquets, arrangements and more. All this with sought after tips from well established experts on how to keep a happy heart. This is what makes The London Flower Lover unique and magical. Yes, and that's how we make the difference that we do. When life looks, feels, or sounds challenging, we offer a sanctuary that you may dip into. A well of refreshment and strength that you may draw from. Sharing what others have found to be successful ways of being happy in the face of challenges, whilst letting flowers do the talking when we have no other way to interpret what is going on. Use flowers to help you re-discover, reveal and remember how you can still be despite challenges. Use flowers to celebrate and to embody the possibility of your heart felt desire, fulfilled. Use flowers in your life, to remind you of the beauty of your life. Use The London Flower Lover today. We invite you to stay curious in this floral universe as you explore the love in the heart. 1. I’m often quite taken aback by people being *unable* to accept compliments. I guess I was raised to think I had some value, which I’ll grant you is sadly far from a universal lesson parents give their children, but even out of simple good manners I’d think it better to just say Thank You when given such largesse than to disagree.

If I could afford it, I think it’d be a fun and worthwhile project to go into a shop like yours every day, buy a beautiful bouquet, put a ‘secret admirer’ card on it, and leave it for some person who seems to have too little self esteem—and I’m not talking about the specious sort of self-esteem that is handed out as ribbons and medals in every school class so nobody-feels-excluded no matter how little effort they invested in their work. Just a bouquet as a way to say: Yes, you have a place in the world; You are worthy. Insecurity and self-loathing seem like forms of spiritual starvation, terrible in their own ways as much as physical starvation. To appreciate the true beauty in flowers, let alone in other people, it’s helpful to believe in one’s own goodness at least a little too!

    • You come to us with such insight and do you know what, we love the many little points you bring up there about to show it…how to teach people about it and how to feel it for ourselves.Thank you for talking with us like this, because this has really helped prompt us to think about this. We are doing a children’s workshop later in the Easter Holidays and will bear this in mind….flowers can help people to direct their intentions based on helping us all to reflect back to ourselves our natural beauty. This is such a dynamic process and Kathryn can we request that you keep on with sharing your wonderful belief in ones own goodness…..thanks so much, and Happy Easter
