Beloved Flower Lover,
“You know what, why not use flowers to talk about the stress of the New Years party”
We florists were inspired by her story. We were drawn inwards to her heart. Her love story. Invisibly we shared aconite, ignatia and arnica between us.We listened and smiled a lot at her.
We saw her perk up. This was different. Her body language changed. The hysterical howling that she described that her person had exhibited at the 2013 New Years party was all forgotten…her shoulders dropped down, she sighed out. She visibly rested. Drawn inwards to us. We were all so beautiful.
“Perhaps let’s use the best memories, the blessings you shared, the things you are grateful for first…maybe three or five… and it’s ok if they are random”… she went into another zone as we talked on. She was set up to use another filter, to use another paintbrush to paint the picture of her love life.
“Perhaps let’s use flowers to build the power of your feminine self” we suggested… You know we were really inspired in the studio as we discovered that she was genuinely curious.
“You are here in front of us and it’s our dream fulfilled to run Floral Wellbeing workshops… so with your permission could we do a quick workshop using flowers.” She nodded gently. “We have been developing ideas around this and… ” she again nodded approvingly. She was waiting for us to say more. We did.
We delivered our workshop in about an hour. The highlights are here.
Snippet from Floral Flourish Wellbeing Workshop
Be gentle to yourself first. It’s ok because your wellbeing is not dependent on his behaviour…
She was still listening, kinda getting it…
One thing led to another
Flowers came out, scissors, foliage, wire, string, paper, colouring pens, tissue paper, glue, glitter and containers. We put on some Motzart.
We saw her look like an angel as she begun to write. She wrote and wrote and wrote… our workshop flowered.
What is the default of our nature? And how do we use our being to to create? was the question we posed to her…
Inspired by the delicate beauty of the flowers around…she wrote
That love connection we will for ourselves and others, is in fact a default setting. So is he really gone? we posed.
Her eyes blinked, entranced with peace and inspired she wrote, she glued, she drew.
She was being brought to terms with the light of her true nature and others.
We continued on in our floral flourish wellbeing workshopp
…”but we undo our conscious connection when we go into a negative fear drama… “we all do it…
She got out another set of colours and was drawing…we were really enjoying it too and continued with the topic.
“The second we stop holding onto fear of what we believe he should do, is the moment we can open up to fresh feelings of happiness”, we suggested.
“So what’s the arbitrary deal breaker you are using here sweetie? what’s the unforgivable line in your head that if he crosses he is a gonna? Tell yourself not us. We are not here to judge it.”
She smiled and got writing
“now what’s his?”
…”now we are not telling you where it should be…just exploring how it’s arbitrary”…
….”when we are not caught up with the arbitrary line, we can stay in the present peace and joy of life. That’s when fresh thinking comes to you. The moment you will stop trying to resolve it, we can feel uplifted in our hearts.Win,win solutions follow.”
She was all ears. She totally gave herself space on the inside to stop taking her thoughts seriously and instead played with the flowers we gave her. She created a lovely design, created lots of poetry and drawings. But more importantly she left us smiling again.
She had reflected, digested and cleaned up her feelings about herself and her man. She had been willing to start small and look at her own fearful images that she brought into the relationship and send all of it into the enlightenment of self love. To then hold onto her delightful vision of mutual love whilst using the enjoyable inspired ritual of creating simple floral arrangements which we taught her to use to empower her vision of love. Yes, she could have been any one of us from any part of the world. Yes, a woman like us, relating to our lovely men today.
Yes, it was a privilege to be part of assisting her prepare the soil for a new garden with the seeds of love and her loveliness.
a poem from the workshop…
She sat in a garden of her sunny dreams
in the lush garden
she oozed, oozed,oozed happiness
she gave thanks for her blessings
she counted each blessing from the previous times
the garden of all
all the things she had accomplished,
the garden of all she had achieved
this inspiring garden prepared before it began
in the dark, in the light
this garden had the tiniest butterflies called joy, roses called peace, the tiniest elves, fairies and other elementals called jasmine and daffodils
the enrichment of
the beautiful soil
the tiniest, smallest accomplishments
two, three, four, five…..oh wow they popped out everywhere
she felt her arm reach up,
bend at the elbow
and start patting her back
the luminous light of her high
her luminous light began to glow brighter,
so much, so done, so accomplished
clean sheet for today
recognition of feeling so accomplished
of good fortune
the window of sun light was open wide
she took the time to parcel up her old baggage
the invitation to send them all through into that everlasting luminous light was received and warmly accepted
a multitude of doors
full of brilliant light opened up,
she followed the bread crumbs in her garden
and moved through it’s beauty
she saw the hooks of old brambles fall of her
heaviness was released,
dark worries released,
they were well received by the luminous light streaming in through the window,
through the doors
dark worries, heaviness welcomed lovingly into the light
she felt the warmth of light fill all those holes, those gaps
she felt the radiance of sunlight
her smile was even more bright than the brightest she had been
rainbow bridges of light appeared in the garden
he stepped forward with an animal
she recognised the animal, the hesitancy
she smiled at the animal and pointed to the window to the doors of
both breathed deeply
this moment was forever
the animal was welcomed into the light
never to return
he stood there
their time for joy had begun…
