Flowers and Your Pleasure

Beloved Flower Lover,

We need PLEASURE and joy to be happy. Our bodies are designed to receive and give it.

Now, a lot of us women could be thinking of pleasure as only sexual, but really you can be adding pleasure to your life in so many ways that we know a lot of us aren’t doing….

…like adding flowers into our home

…adding a heartfelt hobby into our lives

…adding sensual pleasures for the body

What happens when we are living in a world of pleasure is our bodies releases Nitric Oxide that naturally occurs in the body when you are engaged in pleasure or are happy.

This nitric oxide is what keeps our blood pressure low, our heart happy, reduces the risk of disease and our energy flowing to keep the wonderful things pouring into our lives!

What happens when you are NOT following a day or life of pleasure or being happy is we instantly turn to coffee, alcohol or sugar as a way for us to lift ourselves up to that feeling of happiness or pleasure we are craving. Sound familiar.

Hmmmm…

Hey, we can admit we are definitely one’s who crave sweets and sugar. Often we will find our way into the local Marks and Spencer and buy a bag of mints.  Knowing that there are areas in life where we actually need to let go and experience pleasure.

Joseph Murphy then talks to us about how to create those pleasure feelings and then how to direct them.

We would love to hear about your pleasure experiments.

About Thelondonflowerlover

Welcome to The London Flower Lover. We are florists who create floral collections to tell your real life story. With colour and texture, we take floristry into an entirely new direction based on the challenges and joys of your life. Offering what we call 'heart based floristry' we use style, fashion, and life situations and merge them with heart based lifestyle support. This inspiring blend creates so much more for those who love flowers. Using flowers in the traditional way of course, but always using flowers to open up a floralicious conversation about relationships of all kinds. We are a sort of work in progress of compassionately confirming how we are already on the inside, the love we want to see out in the world. That is mission of The London Flower Lover. So saying yes to recognising that is at the heart of this blog and using flowers to honour that inner world is how we use the beauty of giving and receiving flowers. This blog is your blog. It's as much about cultivating your heart, as it is about enjoying the physical beauty of flowers. It offers story, poems and video to reflect the life you actually live whilst showing beautifully inspiring collections of flower designs. Hand-tied bouquets, arrangements and more. All this with sought after tips from well established experts on how to keep a happy heart. This is what makes The London Flower Lover unique and magical. Yes, and that's how we make the difference that we do. When life looks, feels, or sounds challenging, we offer a sanctuary that you may dip into. A well of refreshment and strength that you may draw from. Sharing what others have found to be successful ways of being happy in the face of challenges, whilst letting flowers do the talking when we have no other way to interpret what is going on. Use flowers to help you re-discover, reveal and remember how you can still be despite challenges. Use flowers to celebrate and to embody the possibility of your heart felt desire, fulfilled. Use flowers in your life, to remind you of the beauty of your life. Use The London Flower Lover today. We invite you to stay curious in this floral universe as you explore the love in the heart. This is a floralicious world.

As a single father, I will sometimes buy flowers (and the women behind the counter assume that they are for a woman or that I am gay :-/) I will buy them to spruce up my living room or just to take photos of.

I’m telling you …you are on a roll! I wish you could hear the tone in my replies but hopefully you are getting the message. GREAT posts! This one is like sensual vs. sexual. LOT of sensuality in flowers! Of course, that may lead to other things but we won’t go there! LOL:>)

  4. Joy is the ultimate reward of life – and flowers are definitely a joyful pleasure. Nitric oxide – laughing gas? That explains the need to giggle if feeling spontaneously joyful for no particular reason… Not living near shops, I can’t buy myself exotic blooms any more, but with the wildflower meadows all around me, I have floral bounty on the doorstep. I do miss the indulgence of a bunch of tulips or an amaryllis, though.

    • So excited that you can feel the energy of what you want. Those meadows sound wonderful.

Thanks for the education about laughter. You remind us that giggles keep us strong. Hey, we plan to offer you a floral design in a soon to come post, to softly remind you that the energy of those tulips and amaryllis is already within you.

Thank you for sharing your appreciation, we are infinitely grateful for you being part of our world. Thanks for popping by.
