The London Flower Lover

Beloved Flower Lover,

Vintage is hugely popular in fashion and weddings. To get the look fill mismatched china tea pots, jugs and vases with blowsy blooms in pastel shades. Choose buttonholes with an oldfashion twist. We take our inspiration from Constance Spry. We love to look through  interesting displays in quirky containers (tea cups, tea pots, gravy boats, jars, tins etc) using a selection of seasonal flowers and foliage with a vintage feel.

We love vintage, we adore it. It allows us to have a rummage through your cupboards and dig out your old china to use for your wedding. We use easy to access flowers and add  decorative touches using fabrics, ribbon, buttons, beads, and foliage.

Ask about our buttonholes, using one of the new vintage style roses, suitable for a wedding, prom or whatever event requires that extra flourish.

We often take a really deep deep breathe and slow right down. You know  because we often stand back at so many weddings  we get the chance to watch and smile. Why, well, weddings are a wonderful time to celebrate a couple slotting together in harmony and being supported by family and friends to reinforce that energy of love, over and over again. Its such a divine time. A time to remember that we give ourselves love first and then we can offer it to someone else. In many cases, with a certain attitude marriage is truly an act of extreme self care. So we say, congratulations all those who are planning their wedding  now. And we invite you to learn more about how you might reflect your inner vision through flowers on your heavenly day.

Welcome to The London Flower Lover. We are florists who create floral collections to tell your real life story. With colour and texture, we take floristry into an entirely new direction based on the challenges and joys of your life. Offering what we call 'heart based floristry' we use style, fashion, and life situations and merge them with heart based lifestyle support. This inspiring blend creates so much more for those who love flowers. Using flowers in the traditional way of course, but always using flowers to open up a floralicious conversation about relationships of all kinds. We are a sort of work in progress of compassionately confirming how we are already on the inside, the love we want to see out in the world. That is mission of The London Flower Lover. So saying yes to recognising that is at the heart of this blog and using flowers to honour that inner world is how we use the beauty of giving and receiving flowers. This blog is your blog.
