The Marriage of Dawn
Author: Yuvarani Sami
Dawn dressed in darkness Welcomes the lights of wedding The day two hearts joining together Two souls joining together Bound by love. A wedding is the entrance to a marriage Stepping from a fairy tale carriage Into quite ordinary air. The realization comes, Life is a beautiful dance Requiring intense coordination. The hearts are beating Slightly faster than others, Nervousness seeps through For both the groom and the bride Awaiting the great moment Two selves, one life; two notes, one harmony Loving not just one, but both of you. Friends and family Joined together In the wedding bliss To wish them love To wish them happiness To wish them great future together. We wish them to find Joy is in the simple things Touching, embracing, Like coming home knowing, When your eyes meet and no words need to be said. They already knew Long before the sound of wedding bells Love for each other till the very end Still, we wish them love for each other till the very end. So, let us listen to the sound of wedding bells And join in the rhythm of joy In the celebration of love.
I love you not only for what you are,
But for what I am when I am with you
I love you not only for what you have made of yourself
But for what you are making me
I love you for the part of me that you bring out.
I love you for passing over all my foolish and weak traits,
That you can’t help but see
I love you for drawing out into the light my beauty,
That no one else had looked quite far enough to din
I love you.
With You In My Heart
Author: Mick Jennings
With you in my heart, my life is complete, You're the air that I breathe and the food that I eat. You are my soul mate, the beat in my heart, It feels like a year each second we're apart. With you in my heart I'm walking on air, I can imagine your perfume and the touch of your hair. Your beautiful eyes, so kind and so green, The loveliest sight I ever have seen. With you in my heart, I am brim full of pride, It's as though i can achieve anything with you by my side. You're my rock, you?re my angel, my one true love, You're my present from heaven, my gift from above. With you in my heart, I love you so much, How caring you are, my soul you do touch. You're a beautiful princess, a pleasure to know, My love for you just continues to grow. With you in my heart, I'm the happiest man on earth, I feel God has planned this since the day of my birth. I could never love anyone the way I love you, I hope and I pray that you feel the same way too. With you in my heart, through the good and the bad, I'll be there when you need me, when you're hurting or sad. In fact I'll be there for you any night, any day, Whenever you need me, you just have to say. With you in my heart, it really makes my day, With the things that you do and the things that you say. You and Eva deserve happiness and I will ensure, From now, only good times come knocking at your door. With you in my heart, I hope it feels good, And that I am caring for you the way that I should. I will always be happy, just by the love that you give, I will protect you and love you for as long as I live.
All My Happiness Goes Out To You
Author: Nicholas Gordon
All my happiness goes out to you: Pride and pleasure, joy, sweet tears, and love! Reason, hope, and faith together move In harmony to bless all that you do. Let this beginning be the golden dawn At which all dew-drenched nature sings its glory! Nor should the darkness shrouding every story Dim the blue-eyed beauty of this morn. More of life will come than you can hold: A flood no mortal witness can withstand. Rest, then, within a quiet, gentle hand, Knowing where love is as you grow old.
I’ll Be There
Author: Glenn Bagshaw
I’ll be there when nothing begins for I planned this, my wedding day. The cards fall, scattered- who then wins? I’ll be there when nothing begins, all unstrung since single Fate spins dainty dress as pall on display. I’ll be there when nothing begins for I planned this, my wedding day. I’ll be there when nothing begins for I planned this, my wedding day. Hope's hung and loss by a neck wins. I’ll be there when nothing begins, all unstrung since single Fate spins dainty dress for mournful display. I’ll be there when nothing begins for I planned this, my wedding day.
There Is a Love So Certain
Author: Nicholas Gordon
There is a love so certain It can underwrite all fears; A passion so enduring It abides beneath the years; A yearning so consuming It's consumed by its own will To yearn if need forever For the one its need might still. How beautiful the rapture That sustains those long apart! The joyful inner union Of the undivided heart. How sweet yet sad the music That conveys such loyalty! The devastated grace Of the hope of love to be. And now the mystic moment Has arrived, and the reward For all that time of waiting Shall be gathered in a word. And life with utter longing Shall let down its golden hair That these two faithful lovers Find at last their pleasure there.
She Walks In Beauty
Author: Lord Byron
She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes: Thus mellow'd to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies. One shade the more, one ray the less, Had half impair'd the nameless grace Which waves in every raven tress, Or softly lightens o'er her face; Where thoughts serenely sweet express How pure, how dear their dwelling-place. And on that cheek, and o'er that brow, So soft, so calm, yet eloquent, The smiles that win, the tints that glow, But tell of days in goodness spent, A mind at peace with all below, A heart whose love is innocent!
Hold My Hand and I’m Yours
Author: Nicholas Gordon
Hold my hand and I'm yours, And your heart will stay close to mine, For I know the sun must rise with the dawn, And at night the stars must shine. And the wind must wander the ocean And sing with the waves of the sea; Just so, I know, I'll be by your side, And you will be wedded to me. And you will be wedded to me, my love, And I will be wedded to you; For I know the tide must turn with the moon, And the spring must return ever new. And the sky must weep that the hillsides May laugh in the green of their joy; And the leaves must turn red, brown, and gold That the earth might their riches employ. And love like a mad, swollen hunger, And love like an unending song, And love like the silent pull of the Earth Shall be with us all our lives long, my love, Shall be with us all our lives long.

The Best Is Yet To Be
On your joyful wedding day,
You begin a brand new life.
Friends and family give their gifts
To joyful husband, blissful wife.
But the greatest gift you’ll ever get,
A gift from heaven above,
Is love forever, ending never,
You’ll share life’s joy and pleasure;
You’ll have plenty of that, it’s true.
But love is the real treasure
For your new spouse and you.
And if life hands you challenges,
As it does to one and all,
Your love will hold you steady
And never let you fall.
Your wedding day is full of joy;
Tomorrow you cannot see.
But one thing’s sure for the two of you:
The best is yet to be.

The Finest Thing
Among the finest things in life,
a good marriage
is the most satisfying and rewarding,
the deepest and best of pleasures.
That blessed relationship
uplifts, enriches, encourages
and strengthens both husband and wife.
A loving marriage
overcomes any obstacles
the world may put in its way,
strengthening the special marital bond
with every challenge conquered.
is the start of something better
than you can imagine.
May your marriage
be all that you dream of and more.
By Joanna Fuchs
Ever wonder why God gives us two?
A right hand to show the left what to do.
One ear to listen and one to hear
the problems of others,
their laughter and fears.
One eye to watch and one to behold
the beautiful treasures
that life has to hold.
One foot to travel and one to stand tall.
Two feet to land on if we should fall.
One man to stand by a woman’s side;
One woman to cherish being his bride.
The love between partners
comes shining through
and that is the reason
God has made two.
May God Bless You
On Your Wedding Day
Today you are joined in marriage,
remember to always…
Be understanding of your partner’s needs.
Hold each other in the highest regard.
Have a sense of humour as you meet life’s challenges.
Honour one another when you are together or apart.
Respect each other’s differences.
Enjoy the good times, and endure the storms.
Make your dreams come true, together…
Most of all, love one another…
May you always feel as close as you do this day.
May your lives be graced with good health.
May you always find happiness in your home,
and may it be a refuge from the storms of life.
May your love grow ever stronger as you share
your lives together, and may your future be even
more wonderful than you dreamed possible
Marriage begins with a wedding,
where two people promise “to have and to hold, to love
and to cherish” come what may…
The comfort in a marriage comes from caring
for one another, and showing it each day…
The happiness in marriage comes from knowing that the love you
share will grow ever stronger as you go through life together.
The blessings of marriage are the fulfilment of your
cherished hopes and dreams as your lives unfold,
and the realization of the meaning of
that beautiful promise “To have and to hold…”
Take a couple of whole months, clean them thoroughly of all Bitterness,
Rumours, Hate and Jealousy; in other words,
make them as fresh and as clean as possible.
Now cut each month into 28, 30 or 31 different parts…
But don’t make up the whole batch at once..
Instead prepare it One Day at a Time.
Mix well each day:
One part of Faith,
One of Patience,
One of Courage,
One of Work,
Add one part each of:
One part Prayer,
One part Meditation
Season the whole with:
a dash of Good Spirit,
a sprinkle of Fun,
a pinch of Play
a cupful of Good Humour.
Pour all of this into a Vessel Of Love,
Cook thoroughly over Radiant Joy
Garnish with Smiles
Serve with Quietness, Unselfishness and Cheerfulness
And you are bound to have a Happy Life.
